Technology Ministries

The Technology Ministry focuses on sharing the Word of God in a digital age.  We focus on ways to expand access to the parish and reduce barriers to entry for those who want to be part of our community but may not be able to join us in person, or don’t know where to start.  You may not always see this ministry in action, but they are dedicated to this work!

Here are some of the ways this group serves our community:

• Live Stream Operators:  Are you savvy with camera operation, or interested in being trained?  Consider raising your hand for this ministry to support our live streamed services.
• Social Media:  We are expanding our social media presence to connect with our community in as many was as possible!  If you have a knack for social media, consider joining this group.
• Marketing & Community Outreach:  We have reached out to local retirement communities to provide recordings of weekly masses, and bring individuals communion.  If you’d like to support our expansion of this ministry, please let us know!
• Podcast:  Each week, we produce our Sermon in the ‘Burgh podcast that features the homily, readings, music, prayer and more, every weekend.  We offer this service through all podcasting apps, and those without a computer can call 1-855-768-8468 to listen.
